Full Arch Dental Implant Options

Single Dental Implant
Missing a single tooth can cause a cascade of adverse effects to your oral health and the appearance of your smile. With a permanent dental implant, your dentist won’t need to grind or alter your adjacent teeth the way they’d have to for a dental bridge.
A secure dental implant will stay in place, so you’ll never have to worry about your replacement tooth falling out or having to adjust the types of food you eat.

Partial Dental Implants
Missing multiple teeth can put you at an increased risk for bone loss and keep you from being able to eat your favorite foods, speak clearly, or smile naturally with confidence.
One-day dental implants for multiple teeth are as simple to place as a single implant. With your missing teeth permanently replaced, you can start to enjoy life again with your new permanent dental implants!

Receive Your Full Set of Dental Implants
If you’re missing all of your teeth, you’re likely also missing the foods you used to love, and are having trouble speaking clearly or smiling with confidence. Whole mouth dental implants are the perfect solution for those who have suffered from the loss of all of their teeth.
Your new denture will be permanently attached using top dental implant posts — the strong, durable fit ensures you can feel confident in your new smile without worry about your new teeth slipping or falling out!

No-prep veneers are extremely thin shells that bond directly to the front surfaces of your teeth. Unlike traditional veneers, which usually require removing a thin layer of enamel, no-prep veneers often require little to no tooth reshaping at all. For many patients, it’s a simple, comfortable, and reversible option for enhancing their smile. The best part is… we can often get your new veneers done in one day!
No-prep veneers can correct many of the same issues as traditional veneers, including:
Stained, yellowing, or darkened teeth
Chips and minor cracks
Undersized or worn-down teeth
Small gaps between teeth
Slightly crooked or uneven teeth
Asymmetrical smiles
We invite you to come in for a consultation to determine if no-prep veneers are an option for you. During your consultation, Dr. Waters will discuss your goals, evaluate your smile, and determine whether no-prep veneers or traditional porcelain veneers will give you the best results.
Veneers are thin ceramic shells that our cosmetic dentist in Scottsdale, AZ customizes to cover the fronts of teeth that show when you smile. Using veneers, we perfect smiles by:
Making a crooked smile look straighter
Closing uneven gaps and spacing between teeth
Hiding chipped or broken teeth
Covering severely stained or discolored teeth
Resurfacing damaged or worn dental enamel
Restoring a balanced, symmetrical appearance

Getting porcelain veneers isn’t complicated, and we can usually complete the process in just two visits to our Scottsdale, AZ dentist office.
The first step removes a thin layer of tooth enamel so the veneer sits flush along the gumline without adding bulk to your smile.
Next, highly accurate digital impressions help our dental lab partners to customize your final veneers. We also place temporary veneers to protect your teeth while we wait for the lab.
It takes about two weeks for skilled lab technicians to meticulously craft your veneers to the precise shape, size, and shade outlined by our treatment plan.
When your new veneers are ready, you will return to Serenity Smiles for placement. We carefully check each veneer for quality, fit, and appearance, then polish them and bond them to your tooth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most of the time, the answer is YES! Most of our patients are excellent candidates for “teeth in a day” dental implants. While implant installation and temporary dental crowns can be placed in one day, most patients need approximately 6 months to completely heal prior to the final permanent prosthesis placement.
Gums do need to be healthy to properly support dental implants, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this permanent tooth loss solution!
Our dentists will work with you to treat your periodontal disease and restore your gum health. After the health of the gums and jawbone has been restored, we can move forward in placing your dental implants.
Definitely not! Dental implants are just like your real teeth. Eat crunchy, chewy food and enjoy it just as much as you did with your natural teeth!
Some dental practices may need to refer out for dental implant placement, but we don’t! Our skilled team is fully equipped to complete your dental implant surgery from start to finish.
When receiving dental implants, age is typically not a limiting factor — as long as you are over 18 years old and healthy enough to visit our dental office, you’re likely an excellent candidate for receiving permanent dental implants.
If you’re feeling nervous about undergoing dental implant surgery or experiencing dental pain, you’re not alone. Let us put you at ease — you won’t feel a thing during your dental implant surgery! Dental implant patients are numbed before the procedure; it’s like taking a short nap and waking up with a new smile.
About 90% of our implant patients arrive for their follow-up appointment with no bruising, swelling or pain, and most of our patients will typically only report tolerable soreness as they heal. The best way to avoid pain after your dental implant surgery is to closely follow the post-op instructions provided by your dentist.
